Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how PixlCam (“the app”) handles information when you use it.

PixlCam is designed to function as a local dashcam application. The app does not collect or transmit recorded video, audio, or location data for analytics, advertising, or profiling purposes.

PixlCam is a mobile application wholly owned and operated by CM Interactive Limited, a limited liability company registered in England and Wales with Companies House (company number: 15392983).

This policy is governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Information We Do Not Collect

PixlCam does not collect, store, or process:

All video recordings are stored locally on the user's device and remain under the user's control.

Crash and Diagnostics Data

PixlCam may collect anonymised crash and diagnostics data to help identify and fix technical issues. This data cannot be used to identify individual users.

Crash reports do not include video content, audio recordings, location data, or personally identifiable information.

Third-Party Services

PixlCam uses Firebase Crashlytics, a crash reporting service provided by Google LLC, to process anonymised crash and diagnostics data.

Data collected by Crashlytics is handled in accordance with Google's privacy and security standards. PixlCam does not use Firebase Analytics or advertising services.

User Choice and Control

Sharing crash and diagnostics data is optional. Users may decline this data collection and continue using PixlCam with full functionality.

Preferences related to diagnostics sharing can be changed at any time within the app settings.

Data Retention

PixlCam does not intentionally retain personal data.

Crash and diagnostics data processed via Firebase Crashlytics is retained in accordance with Google's retention policies and is not accessible in a way that allows us to identify individual users.

Children's Privacy

PixlCam is not specifically directed at children under the age of 13. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
